At SOCCA GROUP, an employment relationship does not simply end with the return of the key – but with a collaborative, appreciative conclusion. Because we are convinced that good offboarding is just as important as good onboarding.
When employees leave our company, one thing is paramount for us: respect, gratitude, and honest reflection.
That’s why we have established fixed rituals to ensure that the farewell is associated with a good feeling on both sides.
A central component is the confidential exit interview. In this space for honest feedback, we talk about what went particularly well in our collaboration – and where we as a company can develop further. These conversations provide us with valuable insights for further growth as a company.
The departure is also shared with all colleagues in the monthly TeamTalk, so that the entire team has the opportunity to say thank you and wish the employee all the best.
At our company, the time spent together traditionally ends with a final day as a team: a moment of togetherness – usually with cake, personal words, and a small gift for the departing person. The farewell is complemented by an individual card, a personal gift, and a speech by the manager, who once again pays tribute to the time spent together.
These rituals ensure that both sides part on good terms – and that the connection remains, even after the last day of work.
