Three successful Bachelor graduates at the SOCCA GROUP

Fabian, Dominik and Alex have made it: after three and a half years, they have successfully completed their dual bachelor’s degree programme in sports management at the SOCCA GROUP.

However, this is not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter. While two of them are embarking directly on a dual Master’s programme, one is starting his career with us as a Product & Sales Manager.

In this short interview, the three tell us how they experienced their studies and what plans they are now pursuing:

What did you like best about your studies and what can you take with you for your everyday working life?

Fabian:
“What I liked best was the flexible structure of the degree programme, so that I could organise the content myself. The combination of theory and practice helps a lot when you start your career.”

Dominik:
“The combination of theory and practice – so I was able to put what I had learnt directly into practice. In addition, the opportunity to gain practical experience while studying. You learn to organise your own daily routine and prioritise tasks.”

Alex:
“I really liked the practical content that I was able to apply directly at SOCCATOURS.”

Why did you decide to take up a Master’s degree or a permanent position after your Bachelor’s degree?

Fabian:
“The Master’s programme deepens the interesting content of the Bachelor’s programme. What’s more, the duration of three semesters is very short for a further education programme.”

Dominik:
“I really like the working atmosphere and the varied tasks. I can take my first steps in my career in a familiar environment.”

Alex:
“The Master’s programme is an ideal further education opportunity for me to deepen my knowledge of sports management, but also to broaden my focus with new areas of specialisation.”

Would you recommend a dual study programme at the SOCCA GROUP?

Fabian:
“Yes, because you’re relaxed in a young team, gaining practical experience and earning a degree in the process.”

Dominik:
“Yes, definitely. Although you are employed as a student, you are given the same tasks as a permanent employee and receive the same appreciation. You can grow with your tasks and responsibilities and continue your academic training.”

Alex:
“Definitely – the practical experience in a young and sporty environment helps enormously with this degree programme.”
