Dual study programme meets passion for football – an interview with our new colleague
Janis recently joined our sales team in the area of football training camps – as a dual student on the Sports Management degree programme at FHAM. With fresh international experience from South Africa, a great enthusiasm for football and real team spirit, Janis brings everything that suits the SOCCA GROUP.
We asked him a few questions to find out more about him and his motivation:
How did you hear about the SOCCA GROUP?
“Through an internet search – I really wanted to do a dual degree in football. The combination of football and travelling convinced me straight away.”
What was your first impression of the team?
“Very positive! The atmosphere is open, friendly and informal. I felt well integrated right from the start.”
What do you look forward to most in your work?
“Here’s to business trips! I’m looking forward to getting to know new places and learning new things both professionally and personally.”
What has been your greatest sporting success so far?
“My year abroad in South Africa – I was able to play in the third division there. It was a formative time with lots of new experiences in an international team.”
A fun fact at the end?
“I’m a passionate Schalke 04 fan and go to the stadium as often as possible – it’s a big part of my life.”
