Intro

SOCCAMATRIX – what it’s all about
SOCCAMATRIX is the SOCCA GROUP’s new digital operating system, currently under development. Step by step, it brings together the technical logic behind our clubs, teams, coaches, enquiries and bookings in one central location – independent of existing third-party systems. The aim is to create a standalone, scalable platform that technically supports the SOCCA GROUP’s international growth and forms the basis for future products within the SOCCAVERSE. Your role: to translate this business logic into fast, intuitive and truly user-friendly interfaces – for our customers as well as for our internal teams. You’ll be involved right from the very first line of code as this system takes shape – no legacy systems, no baggage, just a genuine greenfield project.

Your mission

  • Develop customer-facing frontend applications and interfaces built on the SOCCAMATRIX business logic
  • Build and maintain admin interfaces for our internal teams
  • Support the development of APIs, data models, and backend integrations in close collaboration with our technical partner team
  • Work closely with our Product Owner and external technical partner team to translate business requirements into intuitive, high-performing user interfaces
  • Help build and shape our internal development team
  • Contribute to testing, debugging, refinement, and documentation of the applications we develop

Your profile

  • Experience as a Full-Stack Developer with confidence working across both frontend and backend technologies
  • (Initial) experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS to build maintainable, type-safe, and modular backend and full-stack applications within a domain-driven architecture
  • Strong practical experience in modern frontend development for customer portals, admin interfaces, dashboards, and internal tools
  • (Initial) backend experience with API development, data modeling, validation, authorization, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, including transactional data handling, relational data modeling, database migrations, and writing efficient, scalable queries
  • Solid understanding of API-first development, including REST contracts, versioned endpoints, and a clear separation of frontend and backend responsibilities within our modular cloud architecture (Azure)
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working, with a focus on scalability and maintainability
  • Enthusiasm for helping shape a small and growing tech team from the ground up
  • Professional working proficiency in both German and English
Whether you're just starting your career or already have extensive experience, what matters most to us is your motivation to grow with our team. Your level of experience will determine the degree of ownership and responsibility you'll take on.

Why us?

  • Growth with a Clear Path.                                                                                                                       When you join us, you won’t be thrown in at the deep end. A structured onboarding program, a dedicated buddy, two development reviews each year, and a digital learning platform give you a clear roadmap from day one—for both your professional and personal growth.
  • A Workplace Built Around Sport.                                                                                                           Sport isn’t just something we talk about—it’s part of our DNA. Whether it’s hiking in the mountains, road cycling, beach volleyball, or a game of darts after work, our monthly team sports day and annual company run create opportunities to stay active together and unwind beyond the office.
  • Transparency from Day One.                                                                                                                  You’ll always know where you stand. Your salary progression is clearly defined and transparent from the very beginning. On top of that, you’ll receive two additional vacation days for your training camp or next competition. Your personal benefits budget also grows automatically with every year you’re part of the team, including perks such as a meal allowance, Wellpass membership, and a commuting subsidy. You’ll find the full overview at become.1.
  • Flexibility Built on Trust.                                                                                                                            We believe in ownership—and ownership is built on trust, not control. That’s why we combine flexible remote work with meaningful time together in the office. Both matter: the freedom to shape your own day and the support of a team that works toward the same goals.
  • Responsibility Instead of Corporate Bureaucracy.                                                                              Short decision-making paths, honest communication, and plenty of room for your own ideas. Here, initiative matters more than job titles. Flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and the opportunity to make a real impact are all part of the way we work.
