Country Management Journey 2026

Thinking ahead on processes together

As part of this year’s “Country Management Journey 2026”, the SOCCA GROUP once again focused on cross-location and cross-country dialogue among our country managers. The aim of the event is to analyse operational and strategic issues together, learn from one another and further develop international standards.

This year’s workshops focused in particular on the areas of strategy, marketing & sales, HR tools and process optimisation in the respective countries. To address the requirements of the individual markets as effectively as possible, work was deliberately carried out in smaller working groups. This enabled the specific challenges and needs of the various countries to be discussed individually and addressed in a practical manner.

The intensive exchange between the country managers proved particularly valuable. It quickly became clear that many markets face similar challenges – and that shared solutions and standardised working methods offer enormous potential.

The use of internal tools also played a central role: topics relating to Personio and Leapsome were discussed in depth, particularly with regard to transparency, efficiency and optimal use in day-to-day work. At the same time, Microsoft SharePoint and Loop were very well received. The sessions demonstrated that digital knowledge management and structured collaboration will come even more into focus in the future.

Overall, it became clear that many challenges are similar across countries and can be resolved more efficiently through common standards. It was particularly pleasing to see how openly the country managers embraced internal suggestions for improvement and actively supported one another.

Armed with plenty of new ideas, concrete measures and a strengthened team spirit, the SOCCA GROUP is now moving on to the next stages of international collaboration. The “Country Management Journey” thus remains a key format for the sustainable development of transparency, collaboration and strategic alignment within the international teams.
