Footballer with international potential
Fresh out of business school and straight from his school-leaving trip to the office: Tomas Sloboda has been part of our team since July.
When it comes to sport, he is particularly at home on the football pitch: after attending a sports secondary school where he had daily football training, he played for clubs including ASV Raiffeisenbank Zurndorf and SC Neusiedl am See. Golf and tennis are also among his great passions.
As a native speaker of Slovak, Tomas also brings valuable language skills to our activities in the Slovak market and, potentially, in the Czech Republic as well.
In the interview, he reveals what he’s most looking forward to at the SOCCA GROUP.
How did you come across the SOCCA GROUP?
I came across the SOCCA GROUP via Instagram Shorts. The content really appealed to me straight away and piqued my curiosity.
What was your first impression of the team and the corporate culture?
My first impression was thoroughly positive. Everyone was in good spirits, relaxed and very friendly – which made me feel welcome straight away.
Which tasks are you most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to experiencing the whole process – from the initial contact with the client right through to the successful completion of the training camp. I find it fascinating to learn about every stage and to be part of it.
What has been your greatest sporting achievement so far?
I haven’t had a single standout sporting achievement so far. For me, the most important thing is to stay active and keep improving.

Aerial Threat.
What’s a random fact about you?
At 1.97 metres, I’m taller than Erling Haaland and almost as tall as Nick Woltemade.
