Four days in Antalya, lots of discussions and plenty of impressions from international sports tourism: Our Product & Sales Manager Daniel Kobl was on site at the Sports & Events Türkiye 2026 together with Country Manager Ilhan Celikli.
The event focussed on pre-planned 1-to-1 meetings with hotels, agencies and other partners. Each meeting lasted 15 minutes to discuss potential collaborations, specific offers and the upcoming training camp season.
But work was not limited to the conference table. The programme also included visits to sports facilities, padel, golf, cycling and various impressions of Antalya as a destination. This on-site view is particularly valuable for training camps: What infrastructure is there? What are the routes like? Which hotels and facilities are suitable for which teams?
For Dani, the trip was particularly beneficial because of the international dialogue:
“The direct dialogue with people from so many different markets was extremely valuable. We were able to make new contacts, take away important information for the next training camp season and finalise negotiations with individual hotels.”
We returned to Rosenheim with many new contacts, fresh market input and concrete deals in our luggage. The impressions from Antalya will now flow directly into the further planning of our training camp programmes.
