From a one-man show to an international team
What began in 2003 as a one-man operation is now an internationally established company with more than 50 employees across nine European locations.
However, the story of the SOCCA GROUP cannot be told through figures alone. Behind this growth are people who take responsibility, develop solutions together and drive the company forward, step by step.
Growth that has developed over many years
The SOCCA GROUP traces its origins back to 2003. Marcus Häusler initially set up the company as a sole trader in Rosenheim. What began as a platform for amateur football gradually developed into a specialist organiser of training camps and tournament trips.
In the years that followed, new services, brands, markets and locations were added. The number of organised training camps rose from 100 in 2006 to more than 2,000 booked training camps and tournament trips in 2025.
This growth did not happen overnight. It developed over many years – with new colleagues, evolving structures and a willingness to continually adapt the company to new challenges.
All the key data, facts and milestones relating to this development are summarisedin the SOCCA GROUP’s chronicle.
Every new colleague changes the company
With each new recruit, fresh experiences, skills and ideas were brought into the company. What began as a small team of staff, each taking on many tasks at once, gradually developed into separate departments.
The team has not only grown alongside the company; it also forms the very foundation that makes this growth possible in the first place.

Becoming more international – whilst still staying connected
Today, the SOCCA GROUP has a presence at nine European locations. New destination management companies in Turkey and the Netherlands have recently further expanded our international structure. At the same time, we are entering a new market in Norway and continuing to develop our services across national and linguistic boundaries.
The larger and more international a company becomes, the more important it is to collaborate across individual sites and departments. Good communication and transparent information are just as crucial to this as clear lines of responsibility and a shared understanding of the company’s objectives.
The development of our staff is also becoming increasingly important. New tasks are emerging, existing roles are changing and new opportunities are opening up. Growth therefore does not simply mean recruiting more colleagues. It also means giving the people within the company the opportunity to grow alongside the SOCCA GROUP.
Shared experiences create bonds
Digital meetings and structured processes make day-to-day collaboration across national borders easier. However, they cannot replace face-to-face meetings.
Joint events such as our annual ‘Big Picture’ or the Christmas party therefore bring all staff members together. They create opportunities for dialogue, highlight developments across the whole company and help staff to look beyond their own areas of responsibility.
Particularly as the number of teams and locations grows, experiences like these are an important part of our corporate culture. They foster mutual understanding and serve as a reminder that, behind our different brands, markets and specialist areas, there is one shared team.
One team, one common goal
The SOCCA GROUP has continued to grow and develop since its foundation. What began as a one-man operation has grown into an international company with more than 50 employees. New markets, additional locations and expanding teams will continue to shape this development in the future.
Whatever changes may occur, our shared goal remains our key guiding principle:
We are Europe’s most successful organiser of training camps and tournament trips.
We can only meet this challenge by working together – through effective communication, transparent decision-making, strong opportunities for development and a team that collaborates across all departments and sites.
